The Dark Side of Human Psychology: 10 Bad Facts You Need to Know

From confirmation bias to the sunk cost fallacy, these are the psychological biases that can lead us astray.

1. Humans are never satisfied. Cursed with eternal greed, they always need more and more, stretching the limits of the giver.

2. With all the wisdom and intellect they are gifted with, they still don’t know what to do with it. Their greatest dream since time immemorial -to present date, has been monotonously same: power, money, women, land, name, fame. That’s all…

3. The fools think they are wise and regard wise as fools; the wise think they all are fools. with time, when fools do realise who is wise and fool, still nothing changes.

4. Fear is a strange enemy. You can only defeat it when you make it fear you, otherwise you will keep fearing it.

5. We know nothing is permanent. Time kills all and we have limited time, still we will struggle as if we will be permanent. So, time and we, both, are killing each other simultaneously. Amazing!

6. Love is a great feeling. So great, humans will do anything for it. And the harder they try, the more likely that they fail.

7. You can trick your brain in more ways than you can trick your pet.

8. There are many incredible similarities between humans and ants! And between humans and bees!!

9. God/religion is the biggest deception. People will do everything in their power to love, obey and respect Him/Her, but somehow still fail to understand Him/Her and end up doing everything against what was told. The funny thing is they will still believe they are doing the right thing!

10. The more we try to grab something, the farther it seems to get. The more we give, the more we receive.
