Marina Abramović’s 1974 performance art piece, “Rhythm 0,” is a haunting and singular event in the history of performance art. The artist, known for her provocative and boundary-pushing work, made herself completely vulnerable to the audience over a grueling six-hour period. The performance took place in a gallery in Naples, Italy, and Marina placed 72 objects on a table for the audience to interact with her in any way they pleased.
